zbl2182: Is Marvel doing anything to get the rights to publish collections of licensed material? I would love to see an essential volume of master of Kung Fu or Micronauts.
Not particularly at the moment. We’ve looked into this in the past, but weren’t able to reach an accord.
Marvel, Tom: anything we can do to help this happen?
Maybe I’m off-base here but I can’t imagine a Micronauts collection selling well enough to be worth any license fee, considering how many of the individual issues are out in the secondary market and how little they go for. Which is not to say they have no “actual" value—on the contrary, they’re a steal!
